Three layers of a trustworthy answer
- Species outcome: a verified parent pair resolves to a child under the active data version.
- Passive feasibility: inherited passives are treated as possible and probabilistic, not guaranteed.
- Unknown boundaries: gender-dependent or unverified rules stay unknown instead of being filled with an old spreadsheet formula.

Keep the result auditable
The active pack is source-pinned and labeled in the planner. If a route depends on a missing mutation or gender-specific outcome, the tool says unknown. That is slower than copying a confident-looking combo, but it is safer for a live game version.
