Privacy Policy

What is stored, and where

PalBreedPath has no account system, no database and no server-side user data. The planner selections below are stored only in your browser's local storage so the planner can restore them on your next visit:

  • Your owned Pal roster and the passives you attached to each Pal.
  • Your target Pal, desired passives and optimization setting.
  • An encoded copy of the same selections in the page URL fragment (after #plan=) while you use the planner.

PalBreedPath does not submit this planner state to its application server, and URL fragments are not included in normal HTTP requests. If you copy or share a planner URL, anyone with that URL may be able to restore the encoded selections, so treat it as data you chose to share.

Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand aggregate page views and real-user website performance. Cloudflare describes this service as privacy-first and states that it does not collect or use visitors' personal data. The analytics beacon is not given your raw roster, target Pal or passive selections.

We also use Plausible to measure aggregate page views and a small set of product events, such as opening the planner and building a path. These events contain only coarse counts and outcome labels; they do not include your Pal roster, target name, passive selections, URL hash or account identifiers. Plausible is loaded without advertising cookies or a cross-site profile.

Advertising

No advertising scripts are present in v1. If non-blocking display ads are added after traffic is validated, this policy will be updated first, including any cookies or identifiers those networks use.

Your controls

  • Reset planner (visible on the planner at all times) removes all stored selections immediately.
  • You can also clear the site's data in your browser settings at any time; this removes the same information.
  • Old or invalid stored payloads are discarded automatically — the planner falls back to an empty state instead of failing.

Changes to this policy

Changes are published on this page with a new effective date before they take effect. Material changes (such as adding advertising or a different analytics provider) will also be noted on the Data updates page.
