What is a Palworld breeding path?

A breeding path is a sequence of parent pairings that starts with Pals you own and ends at a target Pal. Each child can become a parent in the next step.

Does the finder assume I own every Pal?

No. The search begins with the roster you select, so it does not quietly use an unavailable Pal as a starting parent.

Is the route guaranteed to pass every passive?

No. Species outcomes and passive inheritance are different. The species chain uses verified outcome data; passive inheritance remains probabilistic and cost figures are estimates.

What happens when a special rule is not verified?

The planner reports an unknown state instead of inventing a result. Gender-dependent and unsupported mutation cases are labeled explicitly.
